Today i read a book called New Zealand Birds.
This book is talking about how birds are different to other birds some eat fruits some eats meat.
Fantails has long tails that help them to balance and turn quickly when they fly.
pigeon are very big and heavy.They swoop through the woods looking for a berries they eat too much and get very heavy to fly properly and they crash into the windows.
Today i did some Basic Fact Boxes up to 5.
My results were 95/100 and my timer was 2 minute and 58 seconds.
Next time I will go to level 15.
I read a book called Ice bergs by Jane Elliott
In this story long ago the land used to be very cold.
This lasted a millions of years and was called Ice bergs it ended around 12,000 years ago.
Today i did some Steps Web.
The frist activity i did was was drop. In this activity you have to put letter on the right box to make the sentence.
This next activity was spelling qiuz. In this activity you have to spell the words in the correct box.
I complete a can - do activity that is called Dancing Mat typing it helps people to learn to type fast without looking at the keyboard.
First I set up a 15 timer and stared.
Next, I placed my fingers on the correct place.
Last, I made a screenshot of level 1 then i had to put it on my slide and typed down what i need to improve on.
I need to improve by stop looking at the keyboard and look at the screen more.
This week we did our own statistical investigation.
First we collected data on how many blog posts our group wrote in 2021
Next we made pie chart, bar chart and a data table
Then we wrote statements about the blogs. The month that had the most blog post is May. Because there were no holiday.
I enjoyed doing math wtih my group .
A compound sentence is two words simple sentence joined by a fanboys.
First you need to write a simple sentence.
Next we had to write a fanboys and joined them together.
You need two actors,an action, a FANBOY and a comma.The fanboys are for, and, nor, but, or, yet, so.
This is a compound sentence "The people are jumping over the hurdle, landing on the water. "
Today i learnt how to balance by using table tennis.
First i learnt how to hold a bat.We have to hold the bat like we are shaking hand with someone.
Next we had to bounce the ball with our backhand and then we hold the back side.
Then we had to try and bounce the ball on our table tennis bat by using our forehand as many time as we could i bounce 10 and it fell.
Lastly we were playing a game of table tennis.The other people had to vs us and when you serve you drop hit and that how you sere to the
people.
I think this was a little hard because the table tennis ball kepp falling off my bat.
Today I learnt about balancing when throwing and catching a frisbee.
First we got into pairs and used a frisbee to throw at my partner.
Next I acted like dog and tried to get the frisbee while I'm running and jumping.
Then I had to run and catch the frisbee and stop in a position and tried to get the frisbee inside the goal. I tried to catch the frisbee but I missed and it hit my nose.
Lastly I played ultimate frisbee in groups. we had to use the same balance technique with the frisbee.
I think I need more practise with my catching because I couldn't catch the frisbee very many times.
A Summary comes at the ending of the text. A summary is when you repeat the mechanisms you have written.
The book Why Animals Migrate is about why animal migrate.They migrate place to place to fined a warmer place.They search for small green plants to eat.
Did you know there that are 3 Similar Simple Machines. They are wheel and axle, screw, and pulley. The 3 Similar simple machines help us to do work quickly.
We learnt how to use tipping point by catching my fall.
A tipping point is like when you'er about to fall and try to catch youself by falling.
We revised of what we done before. It was balacing and tipping point.
We played a game called Block Twister to practice it.
I think this was hard because it was hurting my body.
oWe learnt about Problom Solving.
First we have to Solving the answer.
Next i had to talk to my group about how we solving the problom.
Lastly we discussed our results with Mr Ogilvie and the class.
I think this is easy because i already know about the time.
I learnt how to balance in my environment.
First I balanced on the bench, ledge and the pillar.Then we went to the playground.
I balanced on two people with nobody's help.
After I balanced with someone's help to keep of the ground.
I like balancing because when i balance i stand up straight and
never fall.
I learnt how to tell people to pass the something on there right or left.
First we needed to revise maori words from last week tenei tena tera.
Next i learnt how to tell someone to pass something on.For example "Hoatu te ...ki te taha maui".
This is easy.
I learnt what a introduction is.
A explanation tells how thing work.
I watched a video about how popcorn pops.
Then we figured out what an introduction is.A introduction is telling what the reader what you're writing about.
Today I recorded a video with my group.
Mannres are use to respectful others.There are many types of manners like thank you,please,sorry, welcome, eye contact.
And these an be use in a range of situaions people use manners when someone is greeting you and giving you something.
People use manners to respect others.Examples of manners is Thank you Please your Welcome May i.

Analog clock are a peice techology that helps tell time.
A clock has 3 mechanisms.The second hand moves around the clock 5 or 4 second.
The minute hand is the longest and moves when the second hand complete 1 rotation.
The hour hand moves the slowest and move between the big numbers.
Today we learnt about balance.
First Mr Ogilvie told us what balancing was. Balance is when you try not to fall over or wiggle and say still.
The first balance we have to do was balance on the beam to get to the other side without touching the floor and we had to go with 2 people at the same time.
The next activty we did was to balance on a ball. I got three poeple in my group one prson have to try and balance on the soccer ball.When we got the hang of balance on the ball then go on the with no ones help.
It was fun because we learnt how to balance and help other's with there balance.

Teamwork is team to describe a group of people working together to achieve a goal.
Teamwork consists of three main mechanisms.
Connuication is talking to each others ideas.An example is what communication is in dodgeball is warning teamates if a ball comeing to you hit it.
Coopartion is when you work as a team.Coopartion is good because you following your teamates plan and listening.
Collaboration is working together to finish the game.An example the players in dodgeball team collabrate and work together to win the game.
Making Connctions is a reading strategy is for helping kids with there reading.
Text to Self it geting a part of a book and connections a stuff that you done to a character. An example The duck were flying down the path then the Highway rat came and stole the duck’s pink cupcake.When my brother ate some chip’s i got hungry and i stole his pack of chip’s. Because i’m to lazy to get my own pack of chip’s.This connect is very mean.
Text to Text is geting a text inside a book and connect it with a another book. An example The duck leads the highway rat to the cave.The duck tryed to get rid of the rat because he is so mean and so greedy.In this story the Gruffalo the mouse that there was a big scary Gruffalo. The fox did’t want to get eatn from the big scary Gruffao.This connect because both of the characters did’t want to get eatn from the Gruffalo.
Mark Duffy is a roll model he share his story around.
The teacher helped Mark to read in prison left side of the page and right side of the page.
Then he turned his life around and got very good at reading.He work for the Bunnings fitting out their stores in Hamitton.
He also become a New Zealand boxer and fight for life.And he become a lightweight champion.
Mark Duffy went back to Univresity to become a counsellor.
The visualisation is creating pictures in your head.This helps understand what we read.
Highway rat is about a rat who is greedy and steals everyones food. He learns a lesson and everyone lives happily.
My visualisation is different to others because I think the pictures are different.
We have different visualisations because we draw differenty pictures.
Place Value is a system that groups numbres based on that size.
The position of a digit determirs its value.When we say numbres we group then within the some hase.For exomple 15709 has fifteen thousands, Seven hundred and nine ones.
Understanding our base 10 place value system allaws us to pronounce big numbres properly. It also allows us to identify numbres befor and after.
I completed stage 4 of Prototec.
My score was 24 out of 60.
I need to work on my subtraction.
